Ryuigi Villaseñor, the man behind Los Angeles-based label RHUDE, has reportedly ended his partnership with PUMA in 2020. But as announced last week, the designer returns to lend Kyle Kuzma a hand and help the star athlete design the all-new Puma Clyde All-Pro Kuzma Low.
This is the second collaboration, the first was published last fall. And just like its high-end predecessor, the low-end also has some of Rhuigi’s features. The rubber soles sit under a knit frame that mixes creamy tones with gray neutrals and a bright orange. In addition, the PUMA name is printed in bold on the tread, with slanted letters that adhere to the thick leather shields that carry it. The laces and tongue are more conventionally white, while the inner lining and upper border are black. Moreover, the language has a global graphic design that Kuzma boldly celebrates.
